
Brian has owned Irish Setters since 1979, showing and breeding. He has made up Show Champions, one of which was a Championship Show Group Winner, and have achieved numerous Stud Book number winners in this breed. A bitch exported to France was made up to a full Champion.
Brian also owned a Welsh Corgi Cardigan, who attained 2 C.C.'s and also was a Championship Show Group Winner. He a litter and five of the puppies became Champions.
Brian serves on our Committee and has been Chairman of our club for many years now. He also served as a Committee member of Paignton Championship Show for many years, more recently as Chief Steward.
He started judging in 1987 and awarded his first set of C.C.'s at the Gundog Society of Wales in 2000. He awards C.C.'s, CAC/CACIB's and Green Stars in Irish Setters plus C.C.'s in Cocker Spaniels. He has judged Gundog Groups and Best in Show at Open Level extensively throughout the UK and has judged Irish Setter Breed Club Shows in Belgium and Sweden
